On December 22nd we welcomed a new family member, Roux. The last two weeks have been full of lots of cuddles, couch naps, diaper changes, and so much love. We were so lucky to have Kyle’s mom here for just over two weeks, overlapping the day he was born and Gigi’s sixth birthday on New Year’s Eve. We are slowly finding our footing as a family of five which has included some creative carseat juggling, fast and easy dinners, short walks to a nearby park, and I’ve continued baking treats like the holidays are still going on. The girls love their new baby brother and are giving him tons of love which I’m so grateful for… and I’m also really grateful that they have a new selection of Christmas and birthday toys to keep them entertained while I log many, many hours nursing the babe. Roux has been a seamless addition to our little family and we feel seriously blessed and lucky to have him in our lives.
